SOIL POLLUTION

The Envirommental impact is soil pollution. Soil pollutuion affects the ecosystem by the chemicals getting into the soil. They kill plants and animals. Then we won't get enough oxygen.

Soil pollution is when bad chemicals get into the soil. Soil pollution is the destuction of the earth's thin layer or healthy, productive soil, where much of our food is grown.

How they pollute the soil.

Local Goverments can also pass recycing laws. Recycle is a progress designed to recover and reuse materials instead of throwing them away. In Vienna, Astria, people have to sort their garbage every day to keep their city clean. They use the hands to sort colored glass, metals, plastic, bottles, aluminum cans, food, and yard waste.

Scientists are using their knowledge of how plants grow to help clean up soil that is polluted with harmful chemicals. They know that plants take up nutrients from the soil, they also take up chemicals.
