Water Pollution
Water
pollution is when gases and oils go into the water and pollutes it. The
polluted water makes plants and animals sick and then the die.

People in our environment don’t take care of our streams and river so they get polluted.
In
1979, the government ruled to limit the amount of chloroform and other organic
chemicals in the drinking water because it might cause cancer.
Conserving
means saving or reusing resources so they will be available for the future.

People
in a community are cleaning up our land to prevent water pollution.
We can repair and prevented the water
getting polluted by the government making laws forbidding people dumping their garbage into the water.
Garbage is to be put somewhere not close to the water.
