The New Westminster Homelearners’ Library and Resource Room Welcomes You!!! Parents can access a wide range of educational resources at the Library     We have all the reading, writing and manipulative materials that almost anyone could need. They range from primary to middle school level with the collection growing every day. One of the popular titles is the “ALL ABOUT” series. These books are directed toward children learning about everything from Provinces and Territories, to Canada’s most famous people, animals and plants, and everything in between. We also have hands-on games and puzzles to accompany almost every subject. We have extensive Math, Science and Language collections with puzzles and games to accompany them. There’s CD ROMs, Videotapes, Audio Cds and much much more. Our resource Library works on a computer system with the ability to track resources, making it more accessible and time friendly. All of the collection is available to everyone enrolled in the program. We also have a great community support system with parents helping in the library while sharing their ideas and experience in choosing materials proven to help with a particular learning outcome. The library is a valuable asset to the program. We also have just opened our new Computer Lab with 8 internet capable computers with many educational programs which are available for your use at all times.
