Procedure |

- Application Package:
Please send all required documents to the General Manager
in the International Education Program office of the New Westminster
School District.
- Letter of Offer: If your
application is accepted, we will send you a Letter of Offer.
The Letter of Offer will state the program you have been accepted
into, the fees payable to the school, and instructions for payment.
If you are not accepted, we will send you a Letter of Refusal.
- Pay Fees: To confirm
your place in the school, pay the fees according to your Letter
of Offer. Fees can be paid by bank-transfer, money-order,
certified cheque, VISA or Mastercard. (If paying by credit
card, an additional 2.5% will be charged on the total.)
- Official Letter of Acceptance:
When we receive your fees in full, we will send you an Official
Letter of Acceptance.
- Student Authorization:
With the Official Letter of Acceptance, you can apply for a
Student Authorization (Student Permit) at the Canadian Embassy
nearest you.
- Come to New Westminster:
When you get your Student Authorization, you can come to
New Westminster!

- Completed application form.
Please make sure that the student and parents both sign the
application form.
- Current photograph (one).
- Original or certified true copies
of school transcripts for the current school-year
and the previous 2 years. Transcripts must
be translated into English.
- Letter of Recommendation
from English teacher or principal (local transfer students only).
- Application fee, payable
to New Westminster School District Number 40.
