Middle School

Glenbrook Middle School

A Middle School is for students in Grades 6-8, ages 10-13. Traditionally, British Columbia has used two levels of schools: Elementary for Grades K-7 and Secondary for Grades 8-12. However, the New Westminster School District recognizes that the needs of children between the ages of 10-13 are unique and specific. To better cater to these students, the school district has introduced the Middle School concept.
