In our Academic Year Abroad program, you are integrated into academic classes and activities with Canadian students. The year-long program also includes ESL (English as a Second Language) sessions to help improve your English.* During the year, you will be enrolled in official school courses. Credits are granted for the academic courses you take and can usually be transferred back to your home country. * Students may also be accepted for one semester. Learn English One Step at a Time Upon arrival, new International students take an English test, then given a combination of academic and ESL classes suitable to their level. We have four levels of ESL, from beginner to advanced levels. Students are reassessed at the end of each semester to see how much they have improved, and advance to the next level according to their improvement. The Academic Year Abroad program is offered to students from kindergarten to Grade 12. The Fee Schedule for the Academic Year Abroad program is the same as other long-term program fees.
