The New Westminster School District
has nine elementary schools, and we accept international elementary
students in certain circumstances. In accordance with Immigration
Canada's regulations, international elementary students must live
with a parent or legal guardian while studying in Canada.
Elementary students usually begin their studies in September, although
mid-year enrolments are possible if space permits.
International elementary students are integrated directly into regular
classes, and given extra attention and support by teachers. New
Westminster School District takes pride in offering nurturing
learning environments for our students and every effort is made
to make international students feel comfortable and welcome. |
