| In addition to school activities, New Westminster
has several Community Centres, where you will find many interesting
activities including aerobics, tennis, photography, ice-hockey,
figure-skating, swimming and lacrosse. If you enjoy skating or
playing ice-hockey, Moody Park Arena ice-skating rink is located
on the campus of NWSS. |

& Advising |
|
| International Education Program office staff are
available during regular office hours. We provide help with extending
visas, filling out forms, and translation and consultation about
academic and personal matters. New Westminster Secondary School
also has a confidential counselling and advising office, and every
student is automatically assigned to a counsellor. All students
are welcome to utilize these services. |

Computer Labs
NWSS has five computer labs, including an internet lab, a multimedia
lab and three standard computer labs. Our computer labs carry
both Macintosh and PC.
Library
The library collection is very extensive and current, offering
a variety of print, electronic and on-line resources which support
the curriculum of studies. As well, the library maintains an extensive
young adult literature and ESL collection. It is staffed by qualified
library personnel and is open to students from 8:00 am to 3:30
pm.
