Who are we?
Access
New West is an innovative online school that offers a variety of
teacher-led online distance courses to students in British Columbia.
We are
part of Community Education in School District 40 (New Westminster).
We are one of the most experienced online centres in British Columbia,
having delivered courses over the Internet to students since 1999. Our teachers have extensive experience designing and leading online
courses and we have created many of our own courses, 'from the ground
up'.
What can you expect from us?
Access
New West will provide you with a teacher led course that is both easy
to register for and easy to use. As part of School District 40, all of
our teachers are members of the British Columbia College of Teachers
and our courses cover BC Ministry of Education Prescribed Learning
Outcomes.
Our goals are to:
- Register you quickly and easily. After you complete and submit the registration form, we will make every attempt to have you started in your course within one business day.
- Support your learning no matter where you are in British Columbia.
- Provide you with teacher support and tutoring help when you need it. There are several ways that you can get help if you need it. Click here to find out more.
- Make it easy for you to write tests, submit assignments, and complete courses.
All of our online courses are continous intake; that means you can start them anytime you wish.
